First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looked at 150 adults with middle rectal cancer to see if a newer robotic surgery method (NOSES-II) that removes the tumor through a natural opening is as safe and effective as the usual robotic method. The main focus was on complications, pain, and recovery time. Results help doctors understand if this less invasive approach is a good option.
