Robotic knee surgery showdown: can skipping the scan still deliver?
NCT ID NCT07522489
First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study compares two types of robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery for people with severe knee arthritis. One method uses a CT scan to plan the surgery, while the other does not. The goal is to see if the no-scan method works just as well for improving knee pain and function. About 146 participants will be followed for one year after surgery.
