First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using a robot to remove one kidney in people with polycystic kidney disease is safer and leads to a shorter hospital stay than traditional open surgery. About 57 adults with advanced kidney disease who need or have had a transplant took part. The goal is to see if the robotic approach causes fewer problems and gets people home sooner.
