Robots step into the operating room for common hernia repairs

NCT ID NCT07181876

Summary

This study is collecting real-world data on a new robotic surgical system designed to help surgeons perform minimally invasive groin hernia repairs. It will enroll 140 adult patients who are already scheduled for this type of surgery. The main goals are to see how safe the system is and whether surgeons can successfully complete the operation using the robot without needing to switch to a traditional open surgery.
