Robot lung test uses gentler sleep drug
NCT ID NCT07006311
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether robot-assisted lung biopsies can be performed using moderate sedation with propofol, a common sedative, instead of deeper anesthesia. Researchers want to see if this approach still allows doctors to accurately reach and sample suspicious lung spots for diagnosis. The study involves 30 adults already scheduled for lung biopsy procedures.
