Robotic 'Paintbrush' helps surgeons find hidden lung spots

NCT ID NCT07177924

Summary

This study is testing a new robotic system to help surgeons find and mark small, hard-to-locate lung nodules before removing them. During a single operation, doctors will use a robotic bronchoscope to inject a safe dye near the nodule, then immediately perform minimally invasive surgery to remove it. The research aims to see if this combined approach is accurate, safe, and helps surgeons learn the technique effectively.
