First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether a simplified robot (FASTER) can help doctors remove abnormal growths from the colon or rectum more quickly and safely than the standard endoscopic method. About 40 adults with such growths will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The main goal is to see if the robot reduces total surgery time and lowers risks like bleeding or injury.
