Robot surgery trial aims to slash severe complications in penile cancer care

NCT ID NCT07378670

Summary

This study compares two surgical methods for removing lymph nodes in the groin of men with penile cancer. It will test if a newer, robot-assisted technique causes fewer severe complications than the current standard open surgery, while still effectively controlling the cancer. The trial will enroll 80 men and follow them for three years to see which approach leads to better recovery and outcomes.
