First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study compares robot-assisted spine surgery to the traditional method for placing screws in the back. About 300 adults having spine fusion surgery will be randomly assigned to one of the two techniques. The goal is to see if the robot leads to more accurate screw placement, fewer complications, and better recovery.
