New robot, new rules: testing better training for surgeons
NCT ID NCT07180797
Summary
This study is testing a new, step-by-step training program for surgeons learning to perform nerve-sparing prostate cancer surgery using the Hugo robotic system. It involves 12 urologists with different experience levels practicing on simulated models. The main goal is to see if this structured training method is practical and to measure how long it takes surgeons to become proficient with the new robot.
