Robot trainer aims to ease arthritic knee pain

NCT ID NCT07014098

Summary

This study is testing a special robotic elliptical machine to see if it can help people with knee osteoarthritis. The machine is designed to train the muscles that control side-to-side and twisting knee motions, which are important for joint stability. Researchers want to see if this targeted training can reduce knee pain and improve how people walk. The study will compare this new training method to traditional elliptical stepping.
