NCT ID NCT07451223
First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether a robot that moves on its own could patrol nursing home rooms and detect when a resident with Alzheimer's falls. The robot would turn on lights, start a video camera, and alert staff so they could check on the resident and talk to them through the robot. The study included 40 residents with dementia and aimed to see if the robot could correctly detect falls 95% of the time.
