Robotic suits aim to help ventilator patients walk again
NCT ID NCT07445035
Summary
This study is testing if using a robotic exoskeleton to help patients on long-term ventilator support do leg exercises improves their strength and breathing. Researchers will compare 30 patients who use the robot-assisted training to those who receive standard care. The goal is to see if this approach helps patients get off the ventilator faster and shorten their hospital stay.
