Robots vs. brain bleeds: new trial tests High-Tech surgery for deadly strokes

NCT ID NCT06459427

Summary

This study is testing whether a new, robot-assisted surgery can help people who have a dangerous type of brain bleed called a brainstem hemorrhage. Researchers will compare the robotic procedure, which aims to carefully drain the blood clot, to standard non-surgical treatment. They want to see if the surgery improves survival, helps patients recover more function, and is safe.
