Robots vs. surgeons: a new test to mend damaged nerves
NCT ID NCT07084207
Summary
This study is testing a robotic surgical system to see if it can help repair damaged nerves in the finger as well as or better than a surgeon's hands. It will involve 100 adults who have had a recent traumatic nerve injury in their hand. The main goal is to see if the robotic system helps restore the sense of touch and improves hand function over the following year.
