Robot hands join surgeons in Ultra-Precise operations

NCT ID NCT07427823

Summary

This study is testing a new robotic system called MUSA-3, designed to help surgeons perform extremely delicate procedures like reconnecting tiny blood vessels or nerves. It will involve 30 patients who need this type of microsurgery, such as for reconstructive surgery after cancer or for treating lymphedema. The main goals are to see if the robot is safe to use and if it performs well enough that surgeons don't have to switch back to doing the procedure completely by hand.
