First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a powered robot suit to exercise the legs can help patients who have been on a breathing machine for a long time. The goal is to see if it improves leg strength, helps them wean off the ventilator faster, and shortens hospital stays. The study will include 30 adults who are stable enough to sit up for at least one minute.
