First human test of experimental cancer drug halted early

NCT ID NCT06488716

Summary

This early-stage study tested the safety of a new cancer drug called RO7759065, both alone and combined with an existing immunotherapy drug (atezolizumab), in patients with advanced solid tumors that could not be cured by other treatments. The main goal was to find a safe dose and understand how the body processes the drug. The study was terminated after enrolling only 12 patients.
