First seen Mar 15, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether a new rivastigmine skin patch works as well as the standard Exelon patch in 68 healthy adults. Researchers measured how much drug entered the blood and how well the patches stuck to the skin over 24 hours. The goal was to see if the new patch could be a safe and effective alternative for treating dementia.
