Heart valve patients test easier blood thinner
NCT ID NCT07456085
Summary
This study is testing if a newer blood thinner called rivaroxaban works as well as the standard drug warfarin for people with mechanical heart valves. It focuses on patients in Pakistan who have trouble getting the regular blood tests needed for warfarin. Sixty patients will be followed for one year to see which group has fewer blood clots or serious bleeding events.
