New drug could stop keloids from coming back after surgery

Summary
This study tests whether the drug ritlecitinib can help people with keloids — thick, raised scars that grow beyond the original wound. About 30 adults will receive the drug after keloid removal surgery. The goal is to see if the drug lowers the chance of the keloid returning and improves scar appearance and symptoms.
