Summary
This study aims to find out what factors increase the risk of developing neuroendocrine tumors, a rare type of cancer that has been on the rise. Researchers will analyze health records from over 14,000 people in Bavaria, Germany, looking at things like smoking, diabetes, obesity, and even depression. The goal is to better understand why these tumors are becoming more common.
