First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether a technique called remote ischemic preconditioning (RIPC) can help lower blood pressure in people with mild hypertension. RIPC involves briefly restricting blood flow to a limb using a cuff, which may trigger protective effects. The study will enroll 400 participants and measure blood pressure changes over time, aiming to offer a drug-free option for managing mild hypertension.
