First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests if giving a special Chinese medicine formula (RIF) along with standard treatment right away can lower the risk of early death in people with a fast-growing blood cancer called acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). About 224 adults with suspected APL will be split into two groups: one gets the standard drug plus RIF, the other gets standard treatment alone. The goal is to see if the early combo helps prevent dangerous bleeding and improves survival.
