Rice formula trial offers hope for Milk-Allergic babies
NCT ID NCT07197814
Summary
This study is testing whether a new formula made from broken-down rice proteins is safe for infants and young children who are allergic to cow's milk. Researchers will give children the rice formula and a placebo formula in a controlled setting to see if allergic reactions occur. If no reactions happen during testing, children will use the rice formula exclusively for 7 days while parents monitor for any symptoms.
