New drug combo shows promise for Hard-to-Treat ovarian cancer

Summary
This phase II trial is testing whether the combination of ribociclib (a targeted cancer drug) and letrozole (a hormone therapy) can shrink or stabilize tumors in women with recurrent low-grade serous carcinoma of the ovary, fallopian tube, or peritoneum. The study enrolled 51 women and measures how many respond to treatment, as well as side effects. The goal is to find a better option for this rare, slow-growing cancer that often comes back after standard treatments.
