New study aims to ease pain after broken rib surgery

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks (SPSIP and ESP) to see which one works better for pain after surgery to fix broken ribs. About 50 adults will take part, and researchers will measure pain levels, how much pain medicine is needed, and any side effects. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to manage pain after this surgery.
