Scientists search for hidden clue in blood to track arthritis flares
NCT ID NCT07374367
Summary
This study aims to learn if a protein in the blood called isthmin-1 can be used as a marker for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) activity. Researchers will measure this protein in 66 people with RA and compare it to healthy people. They will also check if the protein level relates to how much joint inflammation is seen on a special hand ultrasound.
