Could less radiation be just as effective for spine cancer?
NCT ID NCT07538024
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026
Summary
This study is testing whether focusing radiation only on the visible tumor in the spine, instead of a larger area, can still control cancer growth for at least 2 years. About 100 adults with up to 5 spinal tumors that have spread from other cancers will be randomly assigned to one of two radiation plans. The goal is to see if the smaller target works as well and might cause fewer side effects.
