Doctors track reusable surgical clips for six months to ensure safety

NCT ID NCT05363813

Summary

This study checked the long-term safety and performance of a reusable surgical clip system used in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgeries. Researchers followed 245 patients for six months after their surgery to see if the clips effectively sealed blood vessels and ducts without causing problems like leaks. The goal was to confirm this device, already in use for years, is a safe and effective tool for surgeons.
