Second chance treatment aims to halt deadly aneurysm growth
NCT ID NCT07505082
Summary
This small pilot study is testing the safety and usefulness of giving a second treatment to people with an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), a dangerous bulge in the body's main artery. The treatment, called the Nectero EAST System, involves injecting a special solution into the aneurysm to try to strengthen the artery wall and slow its growth. The study will follow 10 people who have already had one treatment to see if a second one is safe and helps control the aneurysm over two years.
