First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special training program can help people with cerebellar ataxia improve their reaching movements. Researchers will compare a new reinforcement-based training method to standard practice. The study involves 18 adults aged 22-80 with ataxia from stroke, tumor, or degeneration. Participants will practice reaching and their progress will be measured with motion capture and a standard ataxia rating scale.
