Summary

This study tests whether adding a new drug called retlirafusp alfa to standard chemotherapy before surgery can help shrink tumors in people with a type of esophageal cancer. About 33 adults with locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma will receive the combination treatment. The main goal is to see how many patients have no cancer cells left in their removed tissue after surgery.
