First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at 78 people in Pakistan who had surgery to fix a detached retina. Doctors compared two common fillers used inside the eye after surgery: gas bubble or silicone oil. The goal was to see which one causes less shifting of the retina afterward, which can lead to distorted vision. Results help surgeons choose the best option for each patient.
