Eye surgery study tests new technique to prevent repeat retinal detachments
NCT ID NCT04767555
Summary
This study compares two surgical approaches for repairing a detached retina. One group receives standard surgery, while the other receives the same surgery plus an extra step called ILM peeling. Researchers want to see if adding this step leads to better vision and fewer complications, like the retina detaching again, over one year.
