Natural compound challenges gold standard mouthwash in dental plaque battle
NCT ID NCT07393802
Summary
This study is testing whether a mouthwash made with resveratrol, a natural compound, can control dental plaque as well as or better than the standard chlorhexidine mouthwash. It involves 20 healthy young adults who will try three different mouthwashes over several weeks. Researchers will measure how much plaque grows back on clean teeth after 24 hours of using each rinse.
