Summary
This study tested whether resveratrol, a natural substance found in grapes and peanuts, could help teenagers with type 1 diabetes who also have early kidney damage. Sixty teens aged 12-18 took either resveratrol tablets or no supplement for six months. Researchers measured blood sugar control, cholesterol, and kidney health markers to see if resveratrol offered any benefit.
