First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study is testing whether an implanted spinal cord stimulator, combined with advanced robotic rehabilitation, can help people with chronic spinal cord injury regain movement. The trial will enroll 18 adults who have had a complete spinal cord injury for at least one year. Participants will undergo rehab sessions before and after the stimulator is implanted, and researchers will monitor safety and any improvements in motor function.
