Office 'Zen Den' put to the test: can a break room boost happiness?
NCT ID NCT07322354
Summary
This study tested whether giving employees access to a special rest cabin at work could improve their mood and reduce job stress. 82 workers at a Canadian insurance company were randomly assigned to either use the cabin immediately or wait a month. The cabin offered guided meditation, massage, light therapy, and a special chair. Researchers compared the well-being of both groups after one month to see if the cabin made a difference.
