NCT ID NCT07516470
First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests a new device called ResQ that uses sound waves to predict if a patient needs more fluids during surgery. About 122 adults having planned abdominal or pelvic surgery will take part. Researchers will compare ResQ's accuracy to the standard method that uses blood pressure. The goal is to see if ResQ is a safe and reliable alternative for managing fluids during anesthesia.
