First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether warming up the breathing muscles can help combat athletes (kickboxing and Muay Thai) perform better and feel less out of breath. Twenty young athletes, ages 15 to 22, will try different warm-up routines, including one that uses a special breathing device. Researchers will measure their lung function, heart rate, and how well they do in a fitness test designed for kickboxers.
