First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study will check if a special monitor can accurately measure how fast a person breathes in the emergency department. Researchers will compare the device's readings to manual counts done by doctors and nurses. About 170 adults will take part, and the goal is to see if the monitor is a reliable tool for spotting early signs of patient decline.
