NCT ID NCT07502274

First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether strengthening breathing muscles could improve trunk control in 30 children aged 8-10 with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy. Half did special breathing exercises with a spirometer, while the other half did standard breathing exercises. Both groups also did their usual therapy. After one month, the researchers measured breathing function and trunk control to see if the spirometer group improved more.
