First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study will follow 1,440 women in China to see if having a respiratory viral infection (like the flu) within six months before getting pregnant or during early pregnancy increases the chance of problems such as gestational diabetes or preterm birth. Researchers will collect medical records and track health outcomes. The goal is to better understand these risks and improve care for mothers and infants.
