NCT ID NCT03793114

First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at how many people with Addison's disease still produce small amounts of adrenal hormones like cortisol, even years after diagnosis. Researchers will compare those with and without this residual function to see if it affects quality of life, work ability, medication needs, or risk of adrenal crisis. About 200 adults with autoimmune Addison's disease are being studied.
