Summary

This study tested a new wireless device called viQtor that continuously tracks vital signs like heart rate and breathing in 500 patients after surgery. The goal was to see if it helps nurses catch health issues earlier and reduces the time they spend on manual checks. The device was used on a surgical ward in the Netherlands over 7 months.
