First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests a program called REPOSE that assigns a patient navigator to help families of children with sleep-disordered breathing (like sleep apnea) overcome barriers to seeing a specialist. The navigator provides resources, support, and coordinates care between doctors and parents. The goal is to see if this approach helps more children complete specialist evaluations and get treatment faster, especially those from different socioeconomic and rural/urban backgrounds.
