Double stem cell shot may quench radiation dry mouth

Summary

This study tests whether two doses of stem cells, given four months apart, can increase saliva production and ease severe dry mouth in people who had radiation for head and neck cancer. About 100 adults who have daily dry mouth and low saliva flow will take part. The goal is to improve quality of life by restoring some saliva function.
