NCT ID NCT07174531
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested a new device called the Renato® system to replace a failing heart valve without open-heart surgery. It included 150 people in China who had a previously implanted heart valve that stopped working well and were too high-risk for another surgery. Doctors used a tube (catheter) to place a new valve inside the old one to restore blood flow. The study tracked deaths and major heart problems to see if the procedure is safe and effective.
