Summary
This study tested whether people with moderate to severe chronic kidney disease (stages 3b-5) would accept two flavors of a special high-energy, low-protein drink called Renalive LP. The drink is meant to help patients follow a low-protein diet while getting enough calories. The study involved 74 adults in Taiwan who were not on dialysis and measured changes in body weight, diet, and kidney function over 4 weeks.
